the first page of my printed portfolio. i'm on a bit of an elephant kick lately. just finished the wire season 2 also. i don't know how i haven't watched that show before. it's fucking brilliant.

a normal conversation at my house.

(I come downstairs from my batcave to find Lisa watching 90210. kelly taylor has a bloody lip and looks sad.)
me-"what the fuck happened to her?"
lisa-"she got raped by some guy in an alley in west hollywood."
(We watch in silence for a second, and then it cuts to kelly in the shower.)
me-"oh, ok, the old post-rape shower scene. Wait for it..."
(onscreen kelly starts her shower looking stern and strong, and after a few moments as the building steam spirals around her she breaks down and crumbles onto the shower floor.)
me-"...see, my post-rape shower scene would go alot differently. It would be like, the person who got raped singing a song, something like, 'i got raped and i kinda liked it, i got raped and i kinda liked it, but i can't let anyone know.' And the person would be doing this..."
(i start an impromptu dance where i smile and sway my hips and tweek my nips.)
lisa-" you are so fucking sick. i don't know why i am laughing at that.boy, if you wrote for this show they would get alot of letters."
(I continue doing my post-rape shower scene dance out the door as i leave for school.)
