so, i have been slowly teaching myself adobe illustrator.
it can be an infuriating program to work in, but little by little, i am getting a grip on it.
here is some of the stuff i have been doing in recent weeks.

i did the original image manipulation in photoshop and all of the coloring in illustrator. this piece is for a cd booklet i am working on for a school project. i am constantly finding cool new aspects in illustrator, like duplicating th icons in the background.
this is another photoshop manipulated image from the same project, colored in illustrator. i always take the illustrator file back into photoshop to clean up the color and add the filters.now, i am going to teach myself all about the livepaint feature in illustrator. i can scan pencil drawings and paint over them, evidently, in illustrator.
we'll see.
stay tuned, i have an idea i am working on right now that i hope will come to fruition.
this blog will be used for artwork only, being as i have zero time to write.
although i am working on a short story about a hitman hunting down the second coming of christ.
so, that might be up here soon.

Oh man, don't even get me started on LivePaint.
Get ready for some heartache.
I haven't spoken to you in a while, I never thanked you for those illustrations. My teacher went nuts over them, she totally knew I did not create them though. I will send you a copy of the final prints.
Call me soon, we should hang out.
I like the image with the lion and the businessman, how did you do the background?
the background was really easy, actually.
there is a tool called the symbol spray painter and i just stacked the different symbols on layers.
you might want to hold onto those illustrations i did for you, there are definitely going to be worth some major cash in i would say, about, 124 years.
