as my graduation nears (march, y'all), and i begin to think about being a working graphic designer, i am making a diligent effort to understand type and kearning and all the intricacies of this mysterious creature.i mean, look at the difference between this flier and the one below.
with a simple change of font and some actual work put into alignment, the flier looks so much better.
i usually just toil away on the imagery and then smack some type on their, but lately, i have actually been taking the time to think about fonts, line weight, and grids.
i may just become a professional yet.
